The Maumelle Middle School relaunch of PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support) began Monday with an extra break-time and snacks for students without any major referrals to date, this quarter. Additionally, students were reminded of "SWARM" expectations and were given an opportunity to provide feedback on quarterly incentives.
Don't forget! The theme for our home game tomorrow (Sept. 30) against Sylvan Hills Middle is "Hawaiian." You may wear themed clothes to school tomorrow, but be sure to continue to follow dress code. Have fun and we can't wait to see your creativity!

September is National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month. Sleep is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. Research shows that we should all be consistent with our bedtime routines, remove electronic devices from the bedroom, and make sure the room is dark and quiet.
September is Better Breakfast Month. Studies have shown that kids who eat breakfast have higher test scores and their schoolwork can suffer because they have a harder time focusing and can become more tired without eating breakfast. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence
