This evening (Mon., Feb. 28) the Pulaski County Sheriff Office contacted PCSSD security to inform them that the search for the suspect earlier today has concluded. Authorities believe the suspect is no longer in the area. School will operate as normal tomorrow (Tues., March 1).

Security protocols continue to remain in place at Pine Forest Elementary, Maumelle Middle and Maumelle High. Dismissal will occur at regular times. There will be additional PCSSD security on each campus as well as Maumelle Police Dept. to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Pine Forest Elementary, Maumelle Middle and Maumelle High are on lockdown at the recommendation of the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office. There is believed to be a threat in the area. No one is allowed into or out of the building at this time. We will update you as we know more.
