Pulaski County Counselors Association is planning a summer book drive that will directly benefit our students that may need extra support for summer literacy.
We are asking families to donate gently used books now through May 12 to your school counseling office. Books of any genre are accepted as they will be distributed to children of all ages in our District.


Today is Arbor Day. The Arbor Day Foundation encourages everyone to plant a tree, find a local tree planting event, or donate to programs to ensure trees continue to be put in the ground.

We will begin Aspire testing on Tuesday, April 25, with the Reading test. Parents and guardians can assist their students be successful in the following ways:
Have students charge their Chromebooks each night;
Help students remember to get a good night's sleep;
Have students eat a good breakfast each morning and
Help students be on time to school every day.
Students need to report to first period and will then be dismissed to their testing room.

Interested in playing volleyball at Maumelle High for the 2023-2024 school year? Tryouts are coming up ... one day for 9th grade and another for varsity. Both days will be held in the Maumelle High School gym.
9th grade tryouts will be on Monday, May 15 at 4:30 p.m.
Varsity tryouts will be on Friday, May 19 at 4:30 p.m.

ACT Aspire sessions begin on Tuesday, April 25 with the Reading Test. Students need to get a good night's sleep the night before, eat a good breakfast, have their Chromebook charged and be on time to school. We believe in you and we can do this! Go Stingers!!!

Maumelle Middle students enjoyed a pep rally on April 21 to prepare for the upcoming ACT Aspire days. Our cheerleaders, dance team, band and Mr. Bratcher inspired students to do their best on the test! Go Stingers!!!





Miss Ashe’s class having a little fun with Pythagorean Theorem before testing next week! Students were given a series of clues using Pythagorean Theorem to narrow down a list of suspects to determine who the building prankster was. Go Stingers!!!





Today is Earth Day! This year's theme is "Invest in Our Planet" encouraging all of us to recognize our collective responsibility to the planet and accelerate our actions to make a difference. PCSSD is proud to partner with PeachJar to do our part!

Reminder we have a new date for the Maumelle Food Truck Festival and it's just two weeks away! Come join us on Saturday, May 13 for family fun and great food. We'll have nearly a dozen food trucks and activities set up for 11am until 4pm at Maumelle Middle School. We're so excited to host this event. Come out and enjoy a day at Maumelle Middle with us!

Our Life Skills students participated in the Special Olympics at Mills High School. Students enjoyed a great day of competing in events and visiting with participants from other schools. Go Stingers!!!
