The Arkansas Department of Health continues to provide guidance for Arkansans who have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 and have been recommended to quarantine.
Many PCSSD teachers and staff got the COVID-19 vaccine this week (as will many more in the coming weeks). The excitement is evident knowing that normal days aren't far away. But it's still important to still wear your masks and physical distance! #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence
This week is School Choice Week. Why choose PCSSD? We prepare students for life. Our staff works diligently with every child to ensure he or she is prepared for life beyond the classroom and can learn in a comfortable, safe environment. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence
January is School Board Appreciation Month and we asked our board members to share a little about themselves.
Stephen Delaney likes reading newspapers on microfilm at the library. He enjoys the old political cartoons and Cynthia Howell/George Bentley stories covering past Arkansas K-12 education issues. Jon Kennedy is his favorite cartoonist but George Fisher is a close second.
One thing he's learned during the pandemic is just how crucial public education is for EVERYONE including those without school-age children. We all need healthy, safe, and functional public schools!
Thank you, Stephen, for your dedication to PCSSD!

Brian Maune is married with 6 children and enjoys family time filled with camping weekends both in and out of state. He also enjoys being outdoors for hunting and fishing recreation.
One thing he's learned during COVID is that he and his wife are not blessed with stay-at-home virtual teaching skills. Those kids had to be back in school. He's very thankful for PCSSD teachers!
Thank you, Briane, for your dedication to PCSSD!
