PCSSD has Dance programs available at MAUMELLE, MILLS UNIVERSITY STUDIES, AND SYLVAN HILLS. These programs continue to grow with students gaining more interest in the program each year. We are proud of all the students involved in dance! #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence


Similar to the trip our 6th graders took last week, the 7th grade AVID team joined fellow 7th grade AVID students from the other PCSSD middle schools for a team building field trip. These students engaged in many activities to inspire collaboration, team building, and most importantly to foster those lifelong connections as a part of the PCSSD AVID Family.

October is National Farm to School Month! PCSSD's student nutrition partner, Chartwells, hosts several Discovery Kitchen events at elementary schools. These events often feature locally grown goods and encourage student to try something new. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

On Friday (Oct. 14), students at Sylvan Hills Middle School celebrated the end of the National Hispanic Heritage Month. Students studied various elements of Latin American foods and celebrated with a nacho tasting to honor the legacy of Ignacio “Nacho” Anaya the inventor of the Nachos dish.
