We’re so proud to celebrate Mr. Chris Phillips, one of our amazing SHMS teachers, for being inducted into the Arkansas Track & Field Hall of Fame! 🏆
Before he was inspiring students in the classroom, Mr. Phillips was making history on the track — from being a State Champion at Crossett High to becoming a 7-time NCAA Champion and 8-time All-American at the University of Arkansas. He even represented Team USA on the world stage and competed in the IAAF World Championships in Monaco! 🇺🇸👟

We ended the year just the way we started it—together. Today was the last day for teachers, and we celebrated with our Golden Bear staff awards, some laughs, and a lunch grilled up by Mr. Hudgeons himself. It was the perfect way to wrap up the year—good food, good company, and a lot to be proud of.
