Sylvan Hills High School is seeking 9th- through 12th-grade boys for the Tennis Team. Season is Aug 11-Oct 8. If you play other sports and are off-season when school starts, this might be a great sport to keep you in shape, work on your footwork, hand speed, cardio, and endurance, and have a great time with friends. Practices are held during the summer, from 7 am to 9 am, Monday through Thursday, so you can still work, practice with the band, or get in some weight training for baseball or basketball. Contact Coach Allison Harper aharper4641@pcssd.org for more information.

May is Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month. One reason May was chosen to celebrate the contributions of AAPI people is Golden Spike Day. The transcontinental railroad, built with the help of many Chinese workers, was completed on May 10, 1869. #pcssdproud #serveall
