This is a reminder for parents and students about upcoming ACT Aspire testing.
We will test:
Reading on Tues. April 13
Science on Wed., April 14
Math on Thur., April 15
Writing on Tues., April 20
English on Wed. , April 21
All students need to be here at school on testing. There is no virtual testing! Please be sure your child is rested and ready to do their best. Testing will begin at 7:45 a.m. The State of Arkansas requires all students to be at school tested. No parents are allowed in the building.
Virtual students will not be tested in the regular classroom. They will be tested in an empty classroom with a certified teacher. They will be socially distanced and will need to wear a mask. VIrtual students do not need to wear a school uniform on these days.
Testing takes about 2 hours. Students will be allowed to call home when they have completed their test to be picked up or they can stay all day at school and log into their google classrooms from the designated area.
Students can eat both breakfast and lunch at school. The deadline to sign up for transportation was March 19th. If you did not sign up then you are responsible for getting your child to and from school.
Students will have a rubric to follow on testing days. They must be here, have their chromebooks charged,
use their scrap paper and try their best. Students who follow the rubric will be rewarded with a Waterslide day in May separate from the traditional and blended students.
