
Last week March 6-8 the Maumelle Middle School Choir participated in Region 2 Choral Performance Assessment and Solo & Ensemble Festival at Sylvan Hills High School. The Stinger Singers (7/8 Treble Choir) performed well, on March 6th, at CPA scoring an Excellent rating on stage and a Superior rating in the Sight-reading Room. The MMS Tenor Bass Chorus attended Solo & Ensemble on March 8th, where they also received a rating of Excellent. We had several students attend Solo & Ensemble Festival to present Solos and Duets. MMS Students scoring Superior include: Kavion Johnson- Solo, Kaedyn Walters - solo, London Williams & Kavion Johnson - duet. MMS Students scoring Excellent include: Thea Olmstead - solo, London Williams - solo, Trinity Johnson - solo, Cailyn Weaver - solo, Charlotte Skidmore - solo. Congratulations to all of these students. Maumelle Middle School is so proud of you and the way you represented what it means to be a Stinger!!!!








Ms. Washam's Life Skills' class participated in Basketball Skills and Drills with Special Olympics. All students participated and won medals! They have worked very hard in PE class to improve their skills, so this event was quite an accomplishment! A very special "thank you" to every staff member who went above and beyond to help these wonderful students! Everyone enjoyed lunch at Chuy's afterwards. Go Stingers!!!
