Our students recently participated in a reading competition with Mills Middle School. We are very proud to announce that we had 498 students who submitted reading logs and their total number of minutes was 68258! These students have won a field trip to Dave & Buster's with all expenses paid! Go Stingers!
Mr. Smith, our Math Instructional Coach, filled in as a substitute teacher this week and in the cafeteria. This is a great example of how our fabulous teachers and staff members are helping in creative ways to provide for our students!

The purpose of this contest is to have students be able to practice their research skills, be able to work in small groups, and expose students to the many possibilities after high school. During center work, MAUMELLE MIDDLE students worked with discount sales tax simple interest. Ms. Vilches bought board games for centers. Students used the board games to work on current standards. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence
