Spring Good Mourning Grief Support Groups accepting applications for virtual series This spring's Good Mourning Grief Support Groups will be offered by Zoom due to safety concerns with the ongoing pandemic. The "silver lining" to the virtual format is that the groups will be available to families anywhere in Arkansas. Good Mourning Grief Support Groups are for children and teens, kindergarten through 12th grade, who have experienced the death of a family member or friend. Group sessions are offered in the evening once weekly for 8 weeks beginning the week of March 28. There will be a Parent Orientation on Tuesday, March 15. Adults in the family are also invited to participate in adult grief support group sessions. There is no cost to families due to the generous funding of the Arkansas Children's Auxiliary. Applications are required for all children and teens and can be submitted online at www.goodmourningcenter.org. For more information, please email goodmourning@archildrens.org or call 501-364-7000.
